It's always a scary moment when you feel as if you are about to lose power. I mean it's such a hussle you have to reset your clocks, you can't open your fridge, everything in your freezer melts, your a/c no longer works and it gets really hot, you have to hunt done all your flashlights that no longer work and then light fifty candles that that act like they are about to burn down your house. (Got to love commas - they help make major run-on sentences.)
But I have to admit its kind of fun when the power goes out. To have to eat all of the ice cream that is in the freezer and to study for a major test that is for the next day because you can focus better because there are fewer distractions. Or to be right in the middle of watching Eagle Eye (a movie where a computer tries to take over the world and one of its methods is messing wth electricity) when the power goes out and your best friend starts screaming her head off. All in all a power outage is just another way to add a little bit of excitement to ones everyday life.
So the way I think of this blog is - a online diary that no one will read but it's not a private because its on the world wide web.

What is blogging?
“Blogging is an art, same as any other method of self-expression. Some are better at it than others.” – Hugh Macleod
True. I only blog because I like to ramble but I can respect a good blog.

Where do you do your deep thinking?
So where do you do your deep thinking? My one friend tells me that she does her deep thinking on the toilet. (I had no idea how to react to that statement.) My other friend admits to deep thinking in shower.
Personally I can deep think anywhere but hey I am thay talented.

Favorite Holidays
Today is one of my favorite holidays. Christmas in July. This holiday gives me an excuse to listen to the 100+ songs that normally I only listen to in December (as well as a couple of random days during the year.
My sister believes that it should really be Christmas in June because that would be the true half mark. I on the othe hand like the ring of Christmas in July.

The Power of Words
Words themselves have no power to do anything. It's the people that say, write, and hear the words that have the power. A author can write with such great passion but if no one reads those words and listens to the writer's passion the words have lost their orignal power. People can give power to words that were said with little thought. Such as words said in anger, or bitterness. Sometimes words need to be striped of their power. Cruel words that tell someone that they are worthless and unloved by all. Those kinds of words should never be given power nor spoken be anyone. Words can be a powerful weapon no matter who says what when those words are given power be others.

A New Month
I know it sounds strange but everyday on the first of an month I get a little excited. For what every reason the start of a new month excites me. And there is so much to be done on the start of a month. First you have to remember to write the correct number of that month whenever you write the date. (It will take me about a week to get it right.) Then you have turn your calender. In my case I have to write a new heading to my list of books. (I record all the books I read by month. Weird - so what - Like it.) The first of a month is a holiday within itsself.
